The Operation Smile program has proven to be successful in assisting Montvale Seniors and their loved ones in receiving a helping hand in a variety of areas. The assistance line offered to the seniors is sponsored by the Montvale Police Department and offers an answering service that allows individuals to reach a Police Officer for directed attention. Over the last year it has been used as a monitoring service for a welfare condition, a business referral check, a guide for senior housing, a reference guide for disability needs and a home health care coordinator.
We recognize that the seniors in our community have various backgrounds and family situations. All information that is discussed and/or researched by the assigned officer and the caller remains completely confidential unless otherwise illegal or hazardous.
