Helping Hand Food Pantry

The Helping Hand Food Pantry services the towns of Emerson, Hillsdale, Oradell, Montvale, Washington Township, Westwood and Woodcliff Lake. 

If you live in any of these towns and are experiencing financial difficulties, we are located in the Hillsdale United Methodist Church at 349 Hillsdale Avenue in Hillsdale.  While we do not verify income, we do require all clients to confirm residency in order to be served. 

The pantry is open on Monday evenings from 5:30PM to 7:00PM and the first Saturday of every month from 9:00AM to 10:30AM.

Senior Van

Senior Van

The Boroughs of Montvale and Park Ridge have a Senior Van to transport non-driving senior citizens (minimum age 55) to various locations in the Pascack Valley area.

Senior Ride is a senior transportation service which is available at no cost to Montvale residents 55 years & older.

Days of Operation:
Wednesday & Friday for Montvale residents.
Thursday for Montvale & Park Ridge residents.                    

Hours of Operation: 8:30am and the last pick-up is at 1:30pm. Special requests outside this time frame will be considered subject to availability.

The destination must be within a 15 miles radius of Montvale.  

To register & schedule a ride contact the Borough of Montvale receptionist at  201-391-5700 during normal business hours. Must speak to the receptionist, do not leave a message on voice mail.  Schedule the ride at least a week prior to your appointment.
