Parkway Southbound Entrance Ramp Update

Please note that we have been informed that the southbound entrance ramp of the Garden State Parkway off W. Grand Avenue in Montvale will be closed for maintenance by the Turnpike Authority from early November 2024 through July 2025. This closure will be in effect 24/7 for a period of nine months. The primary detour will be through Chestnut Ridge Rd to enter the parkway in Woodcliff Lake. Alternatively, options include the use of local roads to Washington Township or through Upper Saddle River.

Additionally, the traffic lights on Summit and Chestnut Ridge and Grand Ave will be adjusted to facilitate quicker left turn access.
We understand that this may cause increased traffic on local roads, and we apologize for any inconvenience to the surrounding towns. We assure you that we are working closely with the authorities to expedite this project.
