Finding Injured or Young Wildlife

Many people encounter what appear to be sick, injured or orphaned wildlife. The New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife urges New Jerseyans to leave young wildlife undisturbed. Every year, especially during the spring and early summer, the lives of many young animals are disrupted. Well-intentioned people may attempt to 'save' these animals, and more often than not, the mother is nearby.

Annual Seasonal Flu Vaccination Clinic Cancelled

In the past, the Board of Health would be preparing for the annual flu clinic and ordering seasonal flu vaccines. However, with the COVID-19 virus effecting our community and state, this has changed. The Northwest Bergen Regional Health Commission, our contracting provider, has decided on the side of precaution to cancel the Annual Flu Vaccination Clinic this year.

Voter Registration Deadline For Primary Election

Hackensack, NJ, June 2, 2020 - Bergen County Superintendent of Elections Patricia DiCostanzo issued a notice that Tuesday, June 16, 2020, is the last day for residents to register to vote for the July 7, 2020, Primary Election in the State of New Jersey. In order to be eligible to vote, a person must be an American Citizen, be 18 years old on or before July 7, 2020, and be a resident of New Jersey and Bergen County by June 16, 2020.
