Montvale Recycling Center

Montvale Recycling Center:

1 Memorial Drive, Montvale
Hours of Operation: Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday: 8AM – 3PM
Bulk items and trash are not accepted

River Vale Recycling Center

320 River Vale Road, River Vale
Access is available Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
Bulk items and trash are not accepted

The following items are accepted at the Montvale Recycling Center. Residents may also use the River Vale Recycling center. However, River Vale Recycling Center does not accept Yard Waste. Download Flyer

Clear & colored glass
Plastic items with triangle symbols #1-7
Paper items: newspapers, magazines, junk mail, telephone books,
paperback books, office paper, paper shopping bags, packaging, cardboard, and corrugated cardboard (boxes should be crushed). Pizza boxes can not be recycled.
Scrap metal
Electronic equipment: televisions, stereos, cell phones, computers,
answering machines, printers, DVD players, VCR’s, fax machines, Laptops, I-Pads, I-Pods. (Electronic equipment is NOT picked up at curbside)
Clothing in bags.
Yard waste is accepted at Montvale Recycling Center. River Vale Recycling Center does not accept yard waste/garden debris. Logs and stumps ARE NOT accepted at either Recycling Center.

Bulk items and trash are not accepted.

Corporate Recycling
For our Corporate residents who generate a SMALL amount of recyclables such as aluminum cans, computer paper and white office paper, you may contact DPW Superintendent Rich Campanelli regarding the use of the Recycling Center. Arrangements for Corporate use of the recycling center MUST BE MADE PRIOR TO USE OF THE CENTER. For details, please call the Pascack VAlley DPW at 201-664-2346 ext. 1400.
