Thanksgiving Holiday Hours & Closures

The Borough of Montvale offices will be closing at 12:00pm on Wednesday, November 27th, and closed on Thursday, November 28th and Friday November 29th in observance of Thanksgiving.
Recycle curbside pick-up scheduled for Thursday will be on Wednesday, November 27th.
The Recycling Center will remain on a normal schedule.

Exit 172 Southbound Ramp to be CLOSED Effective November 15

Please be advised that effective Friday, November 15, 2024, at approximately 8:00 p.m. the southbound ramp off of Grand Avenue onto the Garden State Parkway will be CLOSED to all traffic. Detours will be established to re-route motorists who wish to travel southbound on the Garden State Parkway. Please plan for additional travel time in this area as motorists adjust to the new traffic patterns. 

Be further advised that this closure was mandated by the New Jersey Turnpike Authority as a result of the ongoing bridge work on the Garden State Parkway. The ramp is projected to be closed until at least July of 2025.
